Housing Help Center
Includes various services for issues such as housing search, financial assistance, electricity/utility support program, landlord support, eviction support, bed bugs. Aims to provide assistance for people with low incomes or housing insecurity.

Good Shepherd Center and daily meals
Men's shelter in Downtown Hamilton.
Offers services including emergency overnight accommodation, meals and laundry services, overflow spaces, case management and referrals to community resources, a community hot meal program for anyone in need (Monday-Friday, from 3:30 pm-4:45 pm, Saturday lunch from 11:30 am-12:30 pm). A nurse practitioner is available Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:00 am-4:00 pm and a Shelter Health Network doctor is available on Thursdays from 9:00 am- noon

The good shepherd mary's place
​Women's shelter in Hamilton
Mary’s Place is an emergency shelter for women 18 years and older. Mary’s Place provides safety, support and emergency accommodation to women dealing with homelessness, poverty, mental illness and/or violence.

Mission Services
Mission services include:
  • Men’s Shelter: for men aged 18 years or older experiencing homelessness. It also helps to support people with finding and staying in affordable housing.
  • Willow’s Place: provides housing service for women experiencing homelessness, precarious housing, and social isolation. Women have access to laundry, shower facilities, a safe place to rest, meals, and harm reduction supplies. It also provides opportunities to build on one’s strengths and creativity through art, games, and other social activities.
  • Good Food Center: Provides free emergency food and hygiene supplies for seven days to those with a low income. 
  • Inasmuch House: for women and children experiencing domestic violence. Provides safe, free accommodation where they can access meals, clothing, laundry, and other personal supports

notre dame house
Notre Dame House is a 24-hour emergency shelter providing 21 beds for youth between 16 and 21 years of age. They help youth who are experiencing homelessness or in crisis due to family violence, conflict, abuse, neglect, poverty and exposure to mental health and addiction issues. Youth have access to a number of support services and programs to assist them in accessing housing

YWCA Hamilton TRAnsitional living program
65-bed residence providing temporary housing up to 11 months for women experiencing homelessness or other issues. Provides case management support, goal planning, skills building, employment support, supportive counselling and crisis intervention
